I don't think the View New Posts link is working correctly. :(

I have been off-line for a time this morning and when I came back on in the usual way, all of the threads which I had already covered reappeared. It's not happed just on this occasion, it's been happening for a short while.

Anyone else noticed?

Just the opposite with me, Irene. I complained about it the other day (just before everything went wrong). There was some update to the forum program which, as might be expected, contained bugs - this may be one of them.

But I as an exalted moderator use it all the time to ensure that I have looked at each post.
Me too........

:D I use it all the time... Don't like to miss anything!! ;)

Boris:

Did you go off-line and reload the website for your tests?

It's the first button I click on all the forums.

It's not a facility that I ever use. I link to the forum post notification e mails, and when I have viewed all these, I just have a scan down the latest posts. EASY.

The only trouble with this method is you have a mass of e-mails to delete after youv'e viewed the threads

I only use the 'View New Posts' link and it's been playing up for me as well as some of the threads have been marked as read (i.e. not highlighted) but I've not read them yet

No

Edit

I have now closed the browser, run CleanUp and CrapCleaner to remove all TIFs and cookies and logged in again.

View New Posts ? - there aren't any :)

What a load of fuss. :D :D :D
I bet you wouldn't say that if your forum notification e-mails weren't working
Oh so true!!

Just to add to my misery, the 'chevrons' are also missing. :(

They guide me to the 'last read post' by me.

I'm sure it will get sorted in the end.

It's just the in-between which is difficult.
