I have a knee replacement operation to look forward to - soon, I think. :( My store cupboard has a cataract operation looming! The kitchen is being ripped out next week for a replacement, which wil not be completed until January 25th, when the worktops will be fitted. :0 End of January sees the commencement of the next project to remove and replace the present conservatory. The walls and ceiling in my kitchen are being blitzed because one of the previous owners had a propensity for artex/plaster artistic licence!! Consequently, the walls & ceiling are to be 'flatted' to lovely smooth surfaces. :D Are you doing the work yourself, Gandalph?

andsome
It will be the highlight of the year for us andsome and, so far, she's sailed through. When they are not your own, and you can hand them back, they are far more interesting than your own children were. I hope that doesn't sound bad. For us a delightful age was when the were out of nappies, and could feed themselves, and started to come for a day or two's stay without their parents. It's great to spoil them with a wee bit extra chocolate etc. Ours are coming this Friday for the weekend. Jazmin will be four in February and is an independent little cuss at times, but lovable with it. Zoe is twelve, and an absolutely delightful young lady, and a proper young mother to her sister. Have fun in a year or two's time.
