Gandalph
It started here about 03:15 this morning and has been on and off very heavy since then. I had to get into Berwick Upon Tweed this morning to get to the shops and it was tough going. The local Council has no grit, thanks to the Highways Agency that thought they would not need any yet. I passed two accidents in the fourteen miles to get to my destination. The ambulance was in attendance at one and it looked pretty bad. Three police cars as well. It's snowing like mad at the moment and the local weather says it has to continue through the night. No post this morning or milk, they couldn't get round. -pops-
Very fine, dusty snow here. Not settling.
AlanHo
No sign of snow here in Solihull yet. They have promised us some overnight - we will see.
Gandalph
I've just been out the back of the house with the dogs and I stick a plastic rule into the snow on our path, 7.5 inches, and it's still coming down heavy.
Scarthy © ® ™
We had a slight covering where we live. It began to melt in the afternoon and only remained in the fields, in the shadows/edges towards the evening - I do hope we get a really good covering soon!!! <--- Wait for the groaning...;) I LOVE THE STUFF ! :D
Watchful
Very disappointing here :( I love it too and we only had one tiny sprinkling early this morning which didn't settle as the sun came out later.Very icy, cold winds though. catgate
Started here about 6.00 am. Very light covering that went easily, although it was replenished from on high as fast as it was going, until mid day. After that It more or less forgot us and went somewhere else. Irene
None here yet in Stafford.... thank goodness. :D I think we may get away with it here in the Midlands. It's forecasting only a slight dusting on high ground. Stafford is very low lying, so hopefully we'll not see any.I hate the cold. :( ... .....I need a nice warm cuddle. :D
Watchful
It's even nicer having a warm cuddle when it's thick with snow outside
AlanHo
The forecast has been revised for us in the Midlands - snow no longer expected and things starting to warm up at the week-end. I would volunteer some cuddles girls - but I have a rotten cold (Man flu) and would not want to share it.

andsome
No sign in Burntwood Staffordshire of snow. Thank goodness, I hate the stuff. It looks pretty when it first falls, but is awful when it turns dirty and slushy, and worse still if it freezes. :D
