catgate
When you have got settled in what will you do for excitement??? Start looking for another?
Tankus
heh ...I am going to look for another, back in the valleys (upper end of the Taff or Rhymney possibly) ....but I may wait a few months /years untill the market turns back ...apart from london ...house prices are bombing.I had no choice with the flat , needed a place to lay my hat , but I dont think prices will drop too much in the sub £250K in Londons east end as demand is too high..think they will drop considerably in S Wales though .... still another two weeks to BB, as BT cocked up my address on my line order ....and they have sent me two routers

catgate
. still another two weeks to BB, as BT cocked up my address on my line order ....and they have sent me two routersIt seems to me as though BT are not as good as legend would have them. Either that or everyone else has got to bottom of the barrel and are trying to get out through the cracks. When I switched to BT recently I became "Sir .... .... .......", gained an initial and my address was that of a house in the village 2 miles away The only thing that was correct was the post code, and even that is shown on the map as being over half a mile away. When I wrote and asked them who was it that they expected to get money from, and pointed out their mess, I got a letter back addressed to ....yes you've guessed. Tankus
bit sweaty ....All the heating is economy 7 electric storage , never had that before (big chunky radiators full of bricks ) more used to on demand gas central heating ...... means I have to plan my heating around 36 hrs ahead ...... left it on to charge last night without checking what the weather would be today ....they take about 14 hours to cool ...and cant stop the heat once they've run ....So I'm sitting here in just my shorts , all windows open , and a fan on full blast ,and the radiators are too hot to touch ....bit wasteful innit...! going to have to pay a bit more attention to the weather reportsWent out and got me a digital clock with a built in weather predictor ..showing a 6 hour trend graph barometer.. bet it doesn't work though .... sweaty nads tonight
