Belatucadrus
It seems the erstwhile Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger has decided to buck the current trend of remaining Pope until you drop dead regardless of mental acuity or physical health adversely affecting suitability for office. In short he's quitting.BBC Report

MANEMAN
Nice safe replies from everyone so far.Gotta be careful. One wrong comment and you could end up doing 5 Hail Mary's, a back flip and a couple of somersaults every day for the rest of your life. Belatucadrus
To be fair to him he did rather get them dropped on him from a great height, for a long time the church appears to have had a culture of shuffeling them from parish to parish in the hope nobody would notice. Just ended up providing them with fresh victims, proving that evil can be passive. You tolerate the intolerable you share the guilt.I'm not catholic or even particularly religeous, but really hope they don't go for some accademic idealist. The catholic church still wields tremendous power and in this volatile modern world it needs to be run by a younger man with real world experience and a large healthy dose of that rarest comodity "Common sense" .
