It is a pity that the censors are at it again as soon as something a little bit contentious appears. We are NOT children and don't need nannying. It will be interesting to see how long this one will last. The forum lost a lot of members over the years, and over zealous moderation was one of the reasons that I stopped coming for some time. I have to say that it was what I would describe as regular sniping by you, combined with the previously mentioned over zealous moderating that caused me to think that it was all a waste of time on here. It seems that you have also recently taken a snipe at Maneman, and unfortunately he has not appeared here since. I hope that he looks in and decides to make a contribution and help clear the air. I made a sharp retort to Artist the other day because I felt that she had made an unnecessary comment about a post made by me. There are a few men on here who do nothing but bitch - as for MM, he said he was switching off his computer in respect for his family bereavement. It's too much to hope he won't come back......... As for being driven away by the mods - it was MM, you, Andsome, and Alanho that made me decide to go - I just can't be doing with all the hassle. This forum permits a degree of control on your own postings and I elected to use it.If other forum members chose to engage in a mutual slagging match be my guest just do it on your own threads, perhaps Craig could set up a "Mutual insults" room so that anybody so inclined can flame each other raw and those of us who have no interest in this twaddle don't have to read it. Alanho twisted a comment I made in a post somewhere but I cannot thing I took a snipe at Maneman at any time I have had a browse back as far as the forum will allow - 12 months - and cannot find a post by rong with a snipe at manemen - neither can I find a post where I twisted a comment he made. I was missing from the forum for several months before March 2012 so if I did post something that was not intended - but regarded as twisted - it must have been a couple of years back. I guess we have a generation problem on the forum where some of the senior guys indulge in what is intended to be harmless and/or humorous banter (more often than not made clear by the addition of smilies in the post) but the younger generation who are more PC orientated see this as slagging and are genuinely unaware that no offence was intended by the author.
