Security query

The forum was working as normal early this morning, but when I just came back I'm getting security warnings telling me that the connection to the site is unsecured. This is on a Linux setup using either Chrome or Vivaldi.

Just to confuse matters the page formatting just went bosoms up.

What's going on ?

Bela..

Same for me. Irene knows about it and is on the case

On my Win10 box I get a security warning using Firefox, IE and Edge so it looks as though the site's security certificate has expired or been corrupted. I can by-pass it by clicking on details on the error page and then the by-pass link there - but it can be risky.

I may be wrong, but there was a software upgrade waiting to be installed.

The notification has disappeared now, so perhaps it was as a result of Craig performing his magic?

Well, time will tell.  I'll chase him again if it fails again.

Just had an email from him - he's been chopping some trees down in the garden.

It appears that the cert does expire today, but should not be until midnight.  Craig tried to renew it this morning, but it wouldn't work

Says he'll be on the job within the next couple of hours...  'the job' being the cert problem.  :whistling:
