Had an escort once and it was murder trying to do the parallel parking thing with that!! :huh: Economic to run and taxEasy to fixReliableNot too bothered about features although a radio would be nice. I've got a siecento at the moment - not as roomy as the Punto - had it three years from six months old - bought in car auctions. Excellent - cheap to run - Insurance £104 and on the low road tax too. If you need to carry four people - the Punto is the answer. I love the look of the KA but friend has one and it is a disappointment inside, I thought. Boris Posted February 16, 2004 Report Share Posted February 16, 2004 Corsa - but go for models with the timing chain rather than the timing belt. 5 speed box - power steering - decent stereo - adjustable height drivers seat.Wife and sister both have them. Excellent all round vehicle - our 1.2 petrol Breeze has given 49.6 mpg over the 49,000 miles its done + cheap car tax + no problem with spares.
