catgate
There is sometimes a lot of sh*t talked on here, but here is a puzzle. This morning, as she was administering the necessary water to the potted plants by the summerhouse, management espied the material in the attachments. At first I wondered of they were owl pellets, but they are a bit small for that (about 15mm x 8mm dia.) They certainly look like animal refuse, but just what, is a mystery to me.Any ideas? catgate
Definitely not rabbit or cat. Too small for badger. Hedgehog ? I saw a small deer (either muntjac or roe) and its fawn in a field across the road last week, so that might be a possibility.

catgate
Looks like deer http://www.bear-tracker.com/deepscat1.htmlYes, there is a marked resemblance. It is strange though, because the veg. plot is only a few yards away but does not seem to have been attacked by anything bigger than a snail. Scarecrow Man
A vegetarian's (deer, rabbit, etc) droppings come out in more of a ball shape or an elliptical shape, while a carnivore or omnivore will be more elongated and rectangular.
