...so has anyone seen one of these giant condoms walking around in their part of the world?

I'd run for cover.

How does one answer a call of nature whilst wearing one of these? Pee through it in a similar way to drinking though it? Note that not all excreta is liquid.

How does one put it on?

WALOR!

Now it seems to me that this is just another clever ruse by our mentally challenged masters who have brought this thing about in order to better organise their overwhelming urge for total conformity.

They are hell bent at present on forced equality. They are setting up a scheme to gather every little detail about everyone in the country (MPs and Muslims excepted)

Once this is sorted out all that will be necessary wil be to get every one to look the same and bingo ...total equality. The different colours will be used for as code for a "use by date"/"expiry date"/"DNR date".

If they can make it appear "fun" or "fad" it will be so much easier. There will be less cost to he nation to clothe every one in a "ready for burial" covering that expands from childhood to "end of usefulness".

edit:-

It is funny how letters that leave my brain sometimes never reach my finger tips.

Perhaps our Glorious Leader and Company are thinking about getting rid of National Insurance numbers, giving us all different colours instead. Come in Mr. Red you Social Benefits claim form is on the desk for you to fill out. Mr. Green, you are being made redundant today. Then of course they could mix the colours for age genre. Pink and Red if you are female and retired. Pink and green if you are female and still working. The different colour schemes are endless really.

On the topic of blue tits, we seem to have a very depleted collection this year. What is it like in WF land?

During that cold spell a couple of weeks ago I hung two fat balls up, and instead of the usual clamour we have only seen two birds on them at a time as opposed to the usual half dozen or more.

Used to have loads of birds in the garden. Now we have only a couple of wood pigeons, a familiar blackbird and a robin.

Quite concerned about this. My fatballs remain unpecked and the seed feeders not used for ages.

Birds are pretty scarce aound here for some reason. In the summer we had Blue Tits came into the garden to the nut feeder but since the Autumn I have never seen any. We also got Starlings and Sparrows , never seen any of them for a couple of months either. I filled the nut feeder up four days ago and they have hardly been touched. We get a Peregrine Falcon sitting on top of the fence, probably looking for the smaller birds, one or two Starlings a couple of Wood Pigeons, Pheasants and that's about it.

I can hardly begin to describe the amazing variety of birds that we have in Sri Lanka, from huge mountain eagles to an amazing variety of small colourful finches and hovering birds. Last year we had to stoop as we went out of the backdoor because a pair of weaverbirds had built their nest hanging from the light fitting in the back porch. In country areas some wild birds will eat from people's hands.

In the last couple of years I've noticed many cheeky sparrows in the towns, sometimes walking about on the pavements even when people are walking by. Perhaps they're fugatives from the UK.

Below is a friendly crow who came within 3 feet of me when it noticed the buscuits I was having with my afternoon tea.

We can't afford biscuits now.

We have a robin that I suspect is one of this years hatching in the shed. It comes and goes, hither and thither. It will come and sit on the wheelie bin and we feel we have to go out and feed it, like we fed its parents, who seemed to rely on us.

We are a bit worried though that we may well end up with reliant robin free wheeler.
