The answer to that question may be blowing in the wind.... All I can disclose is that Jack has been a very busy boy. I do hope all here have been well and that this year brings health as without it what the hell good is prosperity? Love to all. One

-pops-
I did add bacon as suggested. The casserole was superb but I overdid the quantity of vegetables so today is Vegetable soup in a pheasant stock base. - I've just blitzed the leftovers and included a bit of extra leek. -pops-
Doing a modification of a dish I read about on the BBC website today. One tin worth of my special tomato sauce (detailed elsewhere), 125 - 150 g chorizo, thinly sliced, one tin butter beans, drained. Thoroughly heat the chorizo in the sauce, add the butter beans at the last moment, mix well and serve with baked potato (as per BBC) or with pasta (as I'm doing). Don't put the butter beans in too soon as they have a tendency to disintegrate if overmixed. Edit: Quite nice but I won't be having it again. Belatucadrus
I presume the black pudding has medicinal properties, can't think of any other reason to eat the battering ram.
