Hurdy Posted July 9, 2005 Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 My daughter was in the middle of it.Few tense hours - she and her friends had to walk a couple of miles out of Town before they found a taxi willing to bring them home to Stratford.She was told by the police that there was serious concern and that there had been three controlled explosions on suspect packages .There was no panic and everybody just walked away from Broad St. and the surrounding areas in an orderly fashion.I am so relieved she's OK.Mind you, the bollocking she's gonna get when she comes home.....
