There was no more snow overnight, but yesterday's 4" fall was still all there first thing. ............... and there's been more continuous snow of varying intensity since 7.30 this morning.Took me over an hour to get to work. Normally its 10-12 minutes !We were all sent home from work @ 12.00 as the Chief Exec thought that the roads "could be a bit tricky later ?"He was right ! - it's just taken me 3 hours to do the 7 miles back home. There are about ten buses picks up kids from the outlying villages, there are not enough children in Duns to make up a couple of classes and the buses were unable to make it into the School this morning because the roads were impassable. The gritters had been concentrating on the A and B class roads to keep them open and had not got round to the C class roads so the buses could not get the kid's picked up.
