It's probably all my fault with my boring Windows Defender update announcements, and only one other forum member reading them.

I have therefore decided to spice-up these announcements a little bit, by using a different background color every day. Today's color is

: GreenYellow !

The colour's fine - but the font is still boring. Can you not spice it up and use windings or something.

I find your Windows Defender posts useful - it enables me to check whether my auto update has worked properly in Vista - it usually has (which really is boring).

I'll always help where I can with security problems and I'll always have a look at a hijackthis log, but a lot of nasty rootkits and some of the worst Rbot infections are beyond my skills these days. But if I can help I will.

WF was always a friendly place where we used to enjoy each others company no matter where we posted on the board. We still do enjoy each others company but I think we all got just a little bit busier somehow :(

I have to agree with you Nellie, I know I for one have been a lot busier and I have hardly been to WF at all let alone posted anything on the forum (not that I was a prolific poster in the first place) but now and again I popped in for a visit just to see how things were going, also, I think I got a bit "forumed out" with all the different ones I was going to. I am beginning to have a little more time now and have found that I am beginning to post a little on the PCadvisor site and the Rangers supporters site "follow follow" who knows maybe this is the start of me coming back to WF to post, hopefully so as I did use to enjoy quite a lot about this forum

Gordy, hopefully it will be blue skies on Saturday, although after watching the performance at the weekend at Easter Road, especially the defence, it makes me think they may not be as blue as we hope, but I suppose a Old Firm game is different and if the defence get their act together, who knows.

We've got to be optimistic......if they can't raise their game for this one then they'll never raise their game. Whatever happens....I'm expecting big changes over the summer......hopefully for the better!

It seems to be common with forums throughout the months of March/April and May that there is a lack of activity, I know my forum has slowed down quite a lot over the last couple of months, but usually picks up again in june time - I also agree though that especially with chat sections there comes a time where pretty much everything has been said and that things just end up getting repeated, which gets pretty boring.

I pop back here every now and then - used to be a regular, and have been here, through two incarnations, since the very beginning of WF. It still has great appeal and the fact people keep coming back shows how good it is!

I'm hoping in the coming months to be here regular again, but mainly around the website help sections, as i'm just finishing up a course on PHP, Apache and SQL, and am also starting a web design company aimed at small businesses, (which is also one of the reasons why i've not been round much lately)

So.....what have I missed out on? Anything major happened? Is Andsome still as modest as ever? :D
