I have also used CruiseCritic.com when I had a forthcoming cruise holiday.I looked briefly on Digital Forums, but found the bad language etc just a bit too much for me. As he refused to accept what I really meant and as I wouldn't give in to his pigheadedness, he told be never to darken his pages again. I can't remember the detail now, it was so trivial but, I don't want to be part of a dictatorship no matter how successful they claim to be. The comment was taken out of perspective, turned upside down then reversed over. I also agreed with you when you said that you would never go back. There were a few other people that also agreed with you. They made posts later on that night asking you to reconsider your view that you would never return but you probably would have missed them. I remember agreeing with you in what you said though, then I remember being shocked at you posting to say that you would not be coming back to the Forum. I then read on for a few more postings and a few of the members were saying words to the effect of 'don't take it too personal, and , please do come back and so on. Tankus Posted January 8, 2008 Report Share Posted January 8, 2008 I regularly read Guido's , Ian Dale , Dizzys , EU referendum ,Lib Dem voice ,and Little green footballs , but don't participate , but they are fun when there is a scandal on , which is most weeks usually !...Tango man Hain is paddling hard this week....I see hmmm..... half way through a cold Turkish pizza (veggie at that ) rather good...and a cold Ostravar czech larger.... ...hits the spot ....feeling content and at peace with the world .......muse used to be fairly regular on the pit and a spin off by some peeps who were not that welcome at the pit.... never quite understood why.... but pops might .....good places to be with friendly peeps ...then a lot of stuff started going on , similar to pops experience on the PCA secret forums for the round table of fanzies ... PM's slartybartfasting back and fore, deletion of posts , PM banning, who posted what and when , some particularly nasty insinuations flying (all this stuff not involving me I may add )egos abound on a sea of futility and repetition ,with four sails to the gale , yet going nowhere ... ...but then ....one night ...........I had one of those epiphany thingy's in a moment of infused mental clarity (aided by several bottles of ESB)...and thought ...is this really where I want to swim .........so I deleted the links from my favs ....... and scorched the urge to google from my memory not been banned or any hatred pointed into my direction from either of the places I may add ,........ just felt it was right and time to move on ....and stopped visiting miss some of the originals though ...
