I used to start new threads at least 2 or 3 times every day - but they attracted fewer and fewer responses so I gave up. People, who like me, now only pop in from time to time but don't post anything are part of the problem - if everyone exhibits the same apathy the forum will surely die. I admit that I now only pop in occasionally to make sure I don't miss the funeral - of this forum.Even andsome, a guy with a formidable posting record, has got his black suit and tie ready judging from the few posts he makes nowadays.Sadly the forum's demise can be traced back to a period of downtime a few months ago which was never acknowledged by Admin who completely ignored subscribers to the forum. I admit that I now only pop in occasionally to make sure I don't miss the funeral - of this forum.I think part of the problem is that over the years computers have become more and more reliable and so you tend to see less computer problems on forums generally.This only leaves chit chat or discussions on subjects like politics and religion which is a a definite 'no' here as the threads tend to become heated and either get deleted or locked.Even andsome, a guy with a formidable posting record, has got his black suit and tie ready judging from the few posts he makes nowadays.Now you come to mention it, what you say is true.
