All gone now?

I'm still here every day. Popping in and out.

The problem is now is that I have left Windows far behind over a year ago and I am now using an iMac 27" so I can't be of any help on the trouble shooting boards. The only thing I use Windows for now is letting in fresh air. Unless someone posts something in the Members Lounge or the Lounge boards I can't comment on anything.

Ah, such is life.

So have all the old-time members given up on this place?

I still look in every day - ever hopeful..........

Even Andsome has deserted the ship.

I think andsome spends most, if not all, his time on the IDF Board. Personally I've looked at it and found it boring.

I think I am correct in stating that it is a couple of months since you last posted here - and you have to go back a further couple of months for the previous post by your good self.

Just looking every day without posting anything is hardly of help to a forum clearly in need of revival.

Since you are one of us who post so infrequently - you will perhaps have a good idea why some of the old members (such as andsome, catgate and myself) who used to post daily, are now such rare participants. In my case - I was possibly the most prolific starter of new threads (as opposed to posting in threads started by others). However, it eventually became obvious by the lack of responses to my threads that it served little purpose and I dried up.

Rong is possibly right in his assertion in post #4 - he usually is ;)

Ditto to this, together with over enthusiastic censoring and closing of threads just as they were getting interesting. I do look in regularly but don't bother to post. I do spend a lot of time on IDF50, and sort out the wheat from the chaff on there, selecting carefully where I choose to participate. I spend more time now on a couple of photographic forums.

Well there you go- we're all of a like mind but do nothing about it!

I too go on the IDF and like Andsome, I just participate in a few bits - I like the photography forum on there.

Strangely, I don't spend as much time on the computer as I used to - Still a fair bit of time wasted though - just a couple of hours a day.

I had a hip replacement at the beginning of October - seems to be healing OK - but it's on the same leg as the knee replacement I had - and I have been having lots of probems with that. I go back for the 6 week check up on 18th so I'll have words about it then. I was awake through most of the operation so I know how much pulling around takes place. I just hope it's going to settle down without another operation.

Oh, artist, it sounds awful. I do hope all heals well for you. :flowers:

...lovely to have us all back on line again though ;)

Reminds of the ambiance when I first joined Windows Forum. It was a thread about someones ear being cut off. I believe it was Mr. Hos.

Can you hear me now?

Eh! What did you say? :D
