Here in the States we think that century old buildings/houses are old. It is amazing to see structures in Europe from the 12th century. Here in the States we think that century old buildings/houses are old. It is amazing to see structures in Europe from the 12th century.12th Century isn't really old for Britain. We have buildings going back to the Roman occupation and they left Britain around 643 AD. Even before they arrived we had Stonehenge and various other remaining places going back to the Bronze and even Stone age.
