Me? I wanted to be a veterinary nurse and to go an live in Africa caring for big game.

What happened? We moved when I was 16 and I sort of discovered boys... so my education suffered on both counts and I ended up working in a Wimpy Bar instead. :(

Chemistry was my best subject at school, and I wanted to be either a chemist or a metallurgist. My mother more or less pushed me into becoming a toolmaker apprentice. At thirty I became a technical representative. Now I am retired, and work very very hard at being successful at it. :D

When I was very young I wanted to become a ballet dancer.

I ultimately entered the world of accounting, which I still do minimally, on a self-employed basis.

In the six terms during which I attended Handsworth Technical School in Birmingham, my class positions in chemistry were, third, first, first, fourth, first and second. Not bad considering that I was also the best looking lad in the class. :D One teacher in the maths lessons didn't throw chalk, he threw the wooden black board cleaner at us, and did on occasions connect. A rather painful experience. :D

When I was little I wanted to be an archaeologist or some one that works with animals. Then I started liking more mechanical things and eventually started playing with computers in my late teenage years and now I would die for a good computer job. Turns out theres not a lot of animal type jobs anyway. Jeff Corwin has the life!

Having said that, it was with the exception of algebra, which I 'almost' enjoyed.

I wanted to join the police, but after meeting a couple of not so friedly officers when I was in my teens it put me off the idea, became a manager in a retail store, got fed up with that and took redundancy when we were bought over by another company, now work as a ops manager in a sports complex

I have just started getting payed for some of my Graphical Art work so i hope to go further in to that, at present i am a stylist in a lady's hair salon "and i have quite enjoyed doing that for the past 2 years :), so you could say I'm doing what i want to do.
